With over 20 years experience in the fitness industry, Lisa Hill is passionate about helping her clients to live an active and pain free life, allowing them to pursue any activities and hobbies they enjoy and want to continue to enjoy for many years to come.
Lisa became a Personal Trainer in 2002 and has been a fully qualified Pilates Instructor for over 12 years, evolving her business over this time to meet the changing requirements of her clients. Lisa is also a qualified Level 5 MELT instructor, using techniques that restore optimal function to help with effective and efficient movement. Lisa has combined all of these disciplines to bring her clients Balanced Fitness, offering classes to suit all ages and abilities. Lisa has her own studio in Wokingham, Berkshire offering 1-2-1 sessions, Pilates/MELT classes, Cardio Strength and Conditioning and sessions for Older Adults. Lisa also offers weekly classes at the Pavilion at Crowthorne Tennis Club, Nine Mile Ride, RG40 3XA. Wokingham. Online classes are also available.
Before joining Lisa's regular classes, clients will need to attend Beginners classes with Jo, who works alongside Lisa. Once clients have completed their Beginners classes, they will then join Lisa's regular classes. If clients have some medical or joint issues, it is advisable that they have an Introductory 1-2-1 before joining the Beginners classes.
Lisa is committed to working with clients who are in rehabilitation or need more guidance and has a number of 1-2-1 clients who she sees on a weekly basis. These clients are often referred from Chiropractors and Physiotherapists who want their patients to attend Balanced Fitness classes to help with their recovery. Lisa is always happy to liaise with anyone working with an individual with a health issue to ensure they receive the best treatment for their condition. Lisa is also qualified to work with ante and post natal clients and older adults. Lisa has also gained vast knowledge about the menopause and loves helping women at this stage of their lives.
Lisa is passionate about a Balanced Fitness approach to good health and it is testament to her that many of her clients have been with her for as long as she has been teaching. Lisa is also proud to receive the Prestige Awards Pilates Classes of the Year for London and the South-East for two years running, 2022 and 2023. In addition, Lisa has most recently won Personal Trainer of the Year, South England Prestige Program 2023/24.
